On our last full day of our holiday we decided to spend the day at Universal Studios Hollywood - just a ten-minute drive from our hotel in Beverly Hills. This is a fully functional Hollywood film studio which also operates as a theme park. It was a fantastic day and the kids really enjoyed it.

The Universal Studios "Citywalk" - this is the part of the theme park that is free - a bit like Downtown Disney - lots of shops and restaurants.

Spiderman makes an appearance to keep the kids amused as I waited ages in the queue for tickets to get into the theme park.
